About me
Hello, my name is Sal. I grew up and went to college in the United States. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English. I have a TEFL certificate and more than 8 years of English teaching experience, two of which are online. After graduating from New York University, I went to Venezuela to teach ESL for 1 year, after which I returned home to New York to private tutor for 1 year. The following year I moved to Beijing, China to work for a training center and then moved to Bangkok, Thailand to work in a public high school. Finally, I was hired for my most recent position, at an online company, where I have worked for the past 2 years.
My teaching style can best be described as interactive, supportive, and transparent. I encourage my students to have a voice in the classroom, ask questions when they come up, and participate actively in all conversations regardless of their level of confidence.
