About me
Hi, my name is Michalina and I am a fully-qualified and experienced English language teacher.
I'm Polish but I my curiosity brought me in 2010 to France. I truly enjoyed my stay here and today I am proud to be a French citizen too.
I hold an M.A. diploma in English philology from Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, Poland. Over the course of my studies, I gained valuable expertise in English phonetics and phonology. I also did some academic research in applied linguistics focusing on child and adult bilingualism.
I have an 8-year experience in teaching English to students of different walks of life, both in public and private settings. I really enjoy teaching one-to-one classes because they allow me to get to know my students on a personal level and monitor their progress more efficiently.
As a teacher I am talkative, friendly and enthusiastic. My teaching approach is grounded in establishing an open, engaging and supportive classroom environment. I encourage my students to think creatively, ask questions and share ideas. I'm highly driven to help them succeed.
In my free time, I am an avid reader of naturopathic books. I love going to the movies too.
