Austin - English teacher

About me

Hi! My name is Austin. I am an English teacher with a TEFL Certificate and many years of experience. I was born in Argentina and raised in the United States, so English and Spanish are both my native languages. Reading and writing was my favorite subject in school, and naturally, I've grown to have a passion for teaching English ever since moving to Argentina after high school. I've been teaching English for over 8 years now, the last year being online. I've taught students of all ages, levels, and of many different nationalities. I've used many different teaching methodologies throughout the years but the ones I found the most success in are the inductive approach(giving students examples and allowing them to look for patterns), the communicative approach, and doing practical exercises involving real situations. I really enjoy helping people learn a language deeply, as communication is the cornerstone of being able to connect with one another. I look forward to helping you improve your English!
