Arne - English teacher

About me

Hello, my name is Arne Bellaart. I am originally from the Netherlands but now I make my home in the Philippines with my Filipina wife and kids. My native tongue is Dutch but I am also fluent in English.

I have been teaching English for more than 4 years now. My scope of teaching experience covers lessons for primary, secondary, and university students. The lesson structure I give starts with highlighting the learning objectives to help the students grasp the lessons using the appropriate materials. Doing warm-up activities and speaking drills as I continuously present the lessons are part of the classes as well. I also provide extra tasks as homework for follow-through learning. For Business English, I handled one-on-one classes with Oracle employees and group classes with adults from different career sectors. The lessons are composed of business meetings, sales presentations, reports, and executive summaries.

My background in designing also allows me to customize lesson materials according to the learner's needs or create completely new ones according to the learner's wishes. 

I always do my best to make the learners feel relaxed and comfortable during the class and with some humor as well to make our classes memorable and fun.
