About me

Hi! This is Laura.

I am an experienced English teacher with a passion for helping students achieve their full potential. With 3 years of classroom teaching experience, I have had the opportunity to work with students of all ages, including adults, children, and teenagers.

I have a strong background in academic writing, being a thesis advisor and an academc writing center consultant. Additionally, my educational background in bilingualism and English literature  has given me the skills to effectively communicate with and understand the needs of my diverse student population.

My interest in neurolinguistics and inclusive education allows me to understand how the brain processes language, and how to best teach my students. I am committed to staying current with the latest teaching methods and incorporating them into my lessons. I am on a constant mission to make learning feel fun, and make every student feel included. I am also a bit of a nerd, if you haven't noticed yet.

I am dedicated to making a positive impact on my students' lives and helping them to achieve their goals. I believe that every student is unique and should be treated as such, and I strive to create a positive and encouraging learning environment for all of my students.
