About me
I am a Cambridge CELTA qualified English teacher. I create fun, engaging, and valuable lessons for students of all levels, ages, and backgrounds. I am experienced with teaching non-native English speakers and in the last two years, I have taught and mentored several teams of non-native English speakers to successfully improve their English and function better in English-speaking environments for reasons such as study, work, travel, and more.
My classroom environment is very positive and supportive, while my teaching style is learner-centred, meaning that I love for my students to be as active and involved as possible in class. To achieve this, I put a lot of effort into planning my lessons and tailoring them to fit the students’ levels, ages, backgrounds, learning goals, interests and personalities, so that in class, I am prepared to guide students through lessons designed around them, allowing them to get lots of practice, make mistakes (which I will correct), and improve their English in an engaging way.
