About me

My name is John Gallagher. I am Irish and I have been living and working in Italy since December 2021 as an English teacher. I am currently living in Okayama, Japan where I am also working full time as a private English tutor.

I have over four years of accumulated experience in teaching English which has given me a wide range of experiences in guiding varied levels and ages of students. Recently, I have had a lot of experience in preparing students for Cambridge exams. If you are planning on sitting these exams, I can provide you with guidance on what to expect and how to prepare.

In my classroom, I encourage you to be curious, to have fun while learning and to express yourself through dialogue and conversation. I aim to make learning English enjoyable, interactive, accessible, and above all, I strive to help you accurately express yourself. Learning a new language is certainly a challenge and I hope to create a supportive and fun environment for you to learn in.
