Hi :)
My name is Marina. Born in Belarus, live in Poland.
I've been teaching for 15 years so far. Mainly I teach English, but also German and Russian. I am lucky to be able to combine my passion and teaching qualifications at work. As my professional motto is passion and competence.
I've been working both in public ( primary, secondary schools, vocational schools for adults) and private sector( chain language schools GoWork, YES! , Futura, Empik and Speak Up teaching mainly adults). Being aware of constant changes I regularly improve my teaching workshop. So in addition to my University Master of Arts I did postgraduate studies in translating and numerous professional teaching trainings. A good example of improving my professionl development is that I am a graduate from Teacher Trainer Academy 3 (2017) launched in DOS-ELTea by Marta Rosińska and Grzegorz Śpiewak (teacher of English, consultant, project manager, teacher trainer, acclaimed conference speaker, author. A former academic lecturer and deputy director for English Teaching & CLIL at the Department of English of Warsaw University.
DOS-ELTea is an independent teacher development and consulting centre, boasting a unique team of teacher trainers, methodology advisers, authors and lecturers offering professional support offer for public and private language schools, universities, and other types of foreign language teaching institutions.
I’ve had a pleasure to participate in amazing sessions held by guest experts of Polish, European, and world ELT like including Hanna Kryszewska, Ken Lackman, Christina Rebuffet-Broadus, and Ben Goldstein.
Currently being a subscriber at FutureLearn.com I have a great pleasure to hold methodological and other self-improvement courses from British Council such as Teaching for Success: lessons and teaching, Teaching online and others.
