Hello! My name is Gianella. I am a 24-year-old English tutor. I am from the Philippines, though English is my first language. I've been teaching English for 4 years now.
My goal as an English teacher is to help my students feel confident and comfortable when speaking English. I believe we should strive for progress, not perfection. So please don't be afraid to make mistakes!
As a teacher, I am patient, friendly, and cheerful. I do my best to make a comfortable and enjoyable environment for my students.
Growing up, I was always the shy kid of the group. So it was a big surprise for my friends and family when I joined the debate team in college. My trainers taught me how to confidently and effectively express myself, and it was amazing. So I would love to do the same for you through engaging and interesting lessons. We will learn not just about rigid rules from a textbook but practical English you can use in your daily life.
