O sobie

Hello, my name is Tonya Brathwaite and I've been a language teacher for 15 years. I've taught both in the classroom and online. My experience ranges from teaching adults to children as young as 5 years old. Thanks to my experience teaching and traveling around Asia, Europe and the Caribbean, I've acquired certain teaching skills which have allowed me to be adaptable to the various cultures and backgrounds of my students. This has afforded my students the opportunity to successfully reach their goals. To me, online teaching has been very rewarding. In fact, a similar relationship can be developed between student and teacher as in the classroom.
Apart from teaching, I enjoy learning. I'm very passionate about language and culture. As a matter of fact, I enjoy watching documentaries on countries, and ethnic and language groups. I'm also interested in watching movies or dramas in foreign languages namely period dramas.  Besides French, Spanish and Japanese I hope to learn more languages soon.
