I am a Cambridge University CELTA qualified teacher (Pass A Grade).
I love languages. I believe learning and teaching each other's languages fosters a better understanding among different cultures and that makes the world a better place. I speak fluent Hindi, English, and Spanish. I also have a good command of German and a smattering of Mandarin Chinese, French and Greek. As for Polish, I only know the most useful phrase: "Jeszcze jedno piwo" ;)
In May 2015, I quit my job to travel the world. After traveling through about 35 countries, which included hitchhiking through Europe and cycling 5,000 Km from Texas to Guatemala, I decided to live and work in Latin America. During the first two years of my travels, I relied heavily on my savings as well as made money on the road by working on a farm in Spain, a café in Scotland, selling German sausages with Indian curry, offering "henna" tattoos, etc. In the later half, I used my passion for languages to fund my travels. Before I started traveling, I used to volunteer to teach English to underprivileged children and adults in India. While traveling, I taught English (as well as Hindi, Spanish, and German!) to several people from around the world, online and offline.
I always try to adapt my methodology to the personality, needs, and interests of my students. My students tell me they find my classes to be extremely dynamic, interesting, and thought-provoking. I look forward to meeting you in my class!
