I'm excited to be teaching with Fluentbe and to get to know new students. I have been living in Barcelona since August, 2022. I'm from the Northeast of the United States, but most recently lived in Colorado for 10 years.
I completed the CELTA course with Oxford House in Barcelona this past winter. Immediately following completion of the course I was able to stay on to teach A2/B1 and B2/C1 students classes for a period of time. Since then I have enjoyed teaching students 1:1.
Prior to teaching English, I taught health education with the Peace Corps in Kenya. I have also worked several years with families, women and children in a clinic and hospital setting as a social worker. I am excited to bring together all the skills gained from my past work, to provide the best possible teaching experience for my students.
