I started teaching during my English Studies, BA. I began with teaching kids and teens in helping them with their homework and with the grammar or vocabulary difficulties they had during their classes at school. During my MA I was granted with a scholarship and went for 2 semesters to Spain to study where I took an opportunity to do an internship as an English Language Assistant in CLIL program. I was trained by academic professors and was introduced CLIL to teach English to small groups of students of engineering at the University of Cadiz. I have also taught English in a language school in Warsaw teaching adults in small groups of 5-6 people. I was trained how to set goals in learning a language and how to engage students in a conversation by using games, videos, audio and online activities. Additionally, I was teaching online for 1,5 years at Fluentbe where I learned how to make a great use of the internet and online games in learning English. When I teach I try to take an individual approach and use many materials to make the classes more interesting and engage everyone in the conversation. I think it is important to set rules and goals when learning a language and I will be happy to be a help with this too and share some tips and additional materials for individual work at home.
