À propos de moi
Hello, my name is Barbara, though my friends call me Barb. I’m originally from Poland but have lived in the UK for many years, where I’ve built a fulfilling career as a secondary school teacher. I teach English Language and Literature, Religious Studies, and English as a Foreign Language (ESOL). I also support online learners, including ESOL students and those with special educational needs, in both English and Maths.
With many years of experience, I’ve come to believe that students thrive in language learning when the environment is relaxed, friendly, and emotionally supportive. Creating that atmosphere is at the heart of my teaching philosophy.
Outside the classroom, I’m passionate about travelling, swimming, and cycling—activities that refresh my spirit and often inspire my teaching.
