Si usas&nbsp;<strong><em>every&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong><strong>+ sustantivo<\/strong>&nbsp;como&nbsp;<strong>sujeto de una oraci\u00f3n<\/strong>, tambi\u00e9n el verbo tendr\u00e1 que estar en&nbsp;<strong>singular<\/strong>. Por ejemplo:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong><em>Every<\/em><\/strong><em>\u00a0piece of clothing\u00a0<\/em><strong><em>is<\/em><\/strong><em>\u00a0available in different sizes.<\/em>\u00a0[Toda prenda de vestir est\u00e1 disponible en diferentes tallas].<\/li><li><strong><em>Every<\/em><\/strong><em>\u00a0dressmaker\u00a0<\/em><strong><em>needs<\/em><\/strong><em>\u00a0different fabrics and colours<\/em>. [Todo dise\u00f1ador de modas necesita materiales y colores diferentes].<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Every + n\u00famero + sustantivo plural<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Every&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong>pueden preceder a un&nbsp;<strong>sustantivo en plural&nbsp;<\/strong>si este sustantivo tiene un n\u00famero delante. Esta construcci\u00f3n es frecuente cuando hablamos de per\u00edodos de tiempo y de intervalos regulares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><em>They have their shoe collection renewed&nbsp;<\/em><strong><em>every three weeks<\/em><\/strong><strong>.<\/strong>&nbsp;[Presentan una nueva colecci\u00f3n de calzado cada tres semanas].<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>El pronombre indefinido&nbsp;<strong><em>every<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;tambi\u00e9n se puede usar&nbsp;<strong>sin n\u00famero y con un sustantivo en singular&nbsp;<\/strong>para describir intervalos de tiempo regulares:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><em>In Milan or Paris, you can see a fashion show\u00a0<\/em><strong><em>every season<\/em><\/strong>. [Viajo a la Semana de la Moda de Par\u00eds cada a\u00f1o].<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>All + sustantivo plural<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>All&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong>se utiliza con sustantivos en&nbsp;<strong>plural&nbsp;<\/strong>para hacer&nbsp;<strong>generalizaciones<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong><em>All pieces\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><em>of clothes are handmade.\u00a0<\/em>[Todas las prendas de vestir est\u00e1n hechas a mano].<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>El sustantivo que sigue a la expresi\u00f3n&nbsp;<strong><em>all of<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;puede estar tanto en&nbsp;<strong>singular&nbsp;<\/strong>como en&nbsp;<strong>plural<\/strong>, y tambi\u00e9n puede ser&nbsp;<strong>incontable<\/strong>. Generalmente es posible reemplazar estos sustantivos con pronombres:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><em>You need to watch&nbsp;<\/em><strong><em>all of the fashion show<\/em><\/strong><em>&nbsp;before having a say.<\/em>&nbsp;[Tienes que ver todo el desfile de moda antes de formarte una opini\u00f3n].<\/li><li><strong><em>All of the skirts<\/em><\/strong><em>&nbsp;are beautiful and empowering<\/em>. [Todas las faldas son bonitas y transmiten energ\u00eda].<\/li><li><em>I need to see&nbsp;<\/em><strong><em>all of them<\/em><\/strong><em>&nbsp;before deciding which to buy.<\/em>&nbsp;[Tengo que verlos todos antes de decidir cu\u00e1l comprar].<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Debemos mencionar que el uso de&nbsp;<strong><em>all of&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong><strong>+ sustantivo en singular&nbsp;<\/strong>no es muy com\u00fan. En su lugar se usa m\u00e1s bien&nbsp;<strong><em>whole<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;o&nbsp;<strong><em>entire<\/em><\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><em>You need to watch&nbsp;<\/em><strong><em>the whole fashion show.<\/em><\/strong><em>&nbsp;(<\/em>=&nbsp;<em>all of the fashion show<\/em>) [Tienes que ver todo el desfile de moda].<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a1Atenci\u00f3n! Puedes omitir&nbsp;<strong><em>of<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;antes de un sustantivo, pero no antes de un pronombre:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong><em>All the models\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><em>look gorgeous =\u00a0<\/em><strong><em>All of them<\/em><\/strong><em>\u00a0(the models) look gorgeous<\/em>.
