Über mich selbst

Do you understand English but still hesitate when you have to speak? Do you know the grammar but struggle to find the right words in a meeting? If so, you're not alone. And this is exactly where I can help.

I’m an experienced English teacher with over forty years in the profession, specialising in Business English, workplace communication and practical English for young adults, adults and professionals. I help learners become more confident in meetings, presentations, negotiations, discussions and everyday workplace communication.

My approach is structured but friendly. I believe adults learn best when they understand why something works, have plenty of opportunity to practise, and receive clear, useful feedback. We work on the English you actually need, while strengthening grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and fluency along the way.

My teaching background includes upper-secondary education in Sweden, university lecturing in Poland, and many years of working with adult learners. I hold an M.A. in English Philology and have also completed university courses in Computational Linguistics, IT and AI.

I speak Polish, Swedish and English, and have lived and worked in both Poland and Sweden. This has given me a good understanding of the difficulties that can arise when we move between languages and cultures. Sometimes a small explanation from the perspective of another language is all it takes for something to click.
