Hello everyone! 

My name is Leah and I am excited to welcome you to my profile. 

I was born and raised in the beautifully multi-cultural South Africa and my first language is English. Having grown up in a richly diverse country, I have always been interested in language and culture, as is reflected in my qualifications. 

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Media, Communications and Culture; a TESOL Certificate; a CELTA Certificate, as well as a certificate in Copy-editing and Proofreading. 

I have been working as an ESL teacher for a total of six years, five of which were spent in the North-East of China, where I was able to put my qualifications into practice. I have taught in person and online, so I am familiar with a variety of classroom environments and have experience in working with a vast range of age groups. 

I believe that learning is infinite and we all have something to teach one another, so I would describe my teaching style as inclusive, patient and open-minded.
